
Blue Cheese & Bacon Puffs

Ingredients
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- 2 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 2 Tbsp. Foothill Farms® Blue Cheese Dressing & Seasoning Mix - Naturally & Artificially Flavored
- 1/4 cup Bacon Bits
- 1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh Chives
- 1 Egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Foothill Farms® Blue Cheese Dressing & Seasoning Mix - Naturally & Artificially Flavored, bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and fresh chives (if using). Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Roll the puff pastry onto a floured surface and cut the pastry into 2-3-inch squares.
- Spoon a small amount of the blue cheese and bacon filling into the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry diagonally to form a small pocket or triangle. Press the edges to seal the puff tightly.
- For a golden finish, brush the top of each puff with a beaten egg.
- Place the puffs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or until golden and puffed up.
- Let the puffs cool slightly before serving.
