Roasted Red Pepper Ranch Dressing

Trendy roasted red peppers add delicious flavor to America's favorite dressing.

Ingredients

1  bag Foothill Farms┬« Ranch Salad Dressing Mix (regular-V400 or no MSG-V402)
1/2  gal buttermilk
1/2  gal mayonnaise
3  cups roasted red pepper puree*

Instructions

  1. In large mixing bowl, add Ranch Dressing Mix (3.2 oz) to buttermilk. Mix well with wire whisk or electric mixer at low speed.
  2. Add mayonnaise and roasted red pepper puree and continue mixing at low speed about two minutes until smooth.
  3. Refrigerate 3-4 hours so dressing will thicken. Stir before using. Store in refrigerator.
  4. *Roasted red peppers can be pureed in food processor until desired consistency is reached.
  5. NOTE: This recipe can be made "light" or "fat free" by using 3 qts. of buttermilk and 1 qt. of light or fat free mayonnaise.
