Instructions
- In a 2” full-size steam table pan, combine hot water, rice, contents of Rice Seasoning packet (6.82 oz) and butter.
- Stir well. Cover with foil or pan lid and bake in a 350°F conventional oven 30-35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and stir well. Return to oven for approximately 10 more minutes, or until water is absorbed.
- Option: For more authentic stir fried rice with egg, whisk together 8 eggs in a bowl. In skillet, heat 1 Tbsp oil over high heat; add eggs and stir-fry until scrambled and firm. Remove from heat and cool; chop and reserve. Once rice has finished cooking, add scrambled eggs and stir until combined. Also great with bits of chicken, pork, shrimp and/or beef.
