Instructions
- Pour water into mixing bowl. Pour Traditional Tomato Sauce Mix (16oz) into water while vigorously stirring with a wire whisk. Continue stirring until mix is completely dissolved. Set aside.
- In a pan, sauté onions and garlic until they become soft and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add sauce, tomato and basil. Mix in beef.
- Place 4.5 oz (#8 scoop) of mixture and 1/4 c cheese to middle of pastry. Fold over in half and crimp edges. Brush with water and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 325F convection oven for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
