A flavorful combination of rice, orzo and seasonings, Foothill Farms® Rice Pilaf Mix is the perfect accompaniment to beef, chicken, pork or seafood.

Ingredients
Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Iron Phosphate, Niacin, Thiamin Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Enriched Orzo (Semolina Wheat Flour, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Corn Syrup Solids, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Salt, Malt Extract, Sugar, Soybean Oil, Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking), Spice (Includes Celery), Onion Powder, Disodium Inosinate & Disodium Guanylate, Turmeric Extract (Color), Sodium Alginate.

Directions For Use
Stove Top: Combine 8 cups (64 fl oz) water and ½ cup (4 oz/8 Tbsp) margarine or butter in a stockpot. Bring to a boil. Stir in contents of rice/orzo bag and seasoning pouch. Return to a boil. Cover tightly and reduce heat to low. Simmer (gentle boil, 200ºF) for 25-30 minutes covered, or until most of the liquid is absorbed and rice/orzo is tender. Transfer to serving pan. Allow rice to set covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. In a deep half-size steam table pan, combine 8 cups (64 fl oz) of boiling water, ½ cup (4 oz/8 Tbsp) margarine or butter and contents of rice/orzo bag and seasoning pouch. Stir well. Cover with foil or pan lid and bake in conventional oven for 30 minutes or convection oven for 25 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. Allow rice to set covered for 5-10 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
