General Description
Foothill Farms® Spanish Rice Mix is a blend of gorgeous red and green bell peppers, onions, garlic and zesty seasonings. With just a hint of spices, our Spanish Style Rice Mix is never overwhelming, but never overlooked. White rice included.
Ingredients
Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Iron, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate, Folic Acid), Dehydrated Vegetables (Onion, Red & Green Bell Pepper, Chili Pepper), Salt, Tomato Powder, Garlic Powder, Spice, Onion Powder, Maltodextrin, Beet Powder (Color), Contains 2% Or Less Of Each Of The Following: Soybean Oil, Extractive Of Paprika, Jalapeno Powder, Silicon Dioxide (Anticaking).
Directions For Use
Convection Oven: In a 2” full size steam table pan, combine 3 qts hot water (180°F) and 4 oz (8 Tbsp) butter (optional). Stir in contents of rice bag (29 oz) and seasoning packet (7 oz). Stir well. Cover with foil or pan lid and bake in a 400ºF convection oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and stir well. Return to oven for approximately 30 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
Stovetop: Combine 3 qts water and 4 oz (8 Tbsp) butter (optional) in a stockpot. Bring to a boil. Add contents of rice bag (29 oz) and seasoning packet (7 oz). Stir well. Return to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer (gentle boil, 200°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until water is absorbed. Stir well. Transfer to serving pan and keep warm (160°F). Fluff with fork before serving.
